Interim peace

Interim peace.

It was yet another Restless night where the constant clutter of fan blades accompanied by mellow sounds of vehicles summed up the noise. The night witnessed the battle between the tempted heart and the intricated mind. The residue of happiness had gone beyond collectivity. The dawn drew closer.

As he closed his eyes slowly, and took a deep breath, which mounted his chest for some time revealing his masculinity, the presence of one such person awoke those half-closed eyes. The diaspora of images flashed infront of him. Within a matter of time, the eyes resorted to their same ways. The hesitance to confide made him hold back those haunting memories which dampened the very motion of his breath, he suffocated with angst stuck in his throat.Procrastination has lead to many such situations and yet no sign of change could be witnessed. Shame on him.

He dare not blame god as he makes no one perfect. He allows them to explore themselves to come to terms with their human persona. For every small destitution he experienced, he grinned at this foolishness and also for the lesson he will learn. He tossed the other direction to clear up this congestion in his mind.

He couldn’t make up his mind on what it was.would it have made a difference if he had known her earlier or under different circumstances? He was genuine. could it have been that the reason for reciprocation was due to the craving for attention that she had missed? The contradiction she bought to the table was just another episode to prove how fickle women were. Yes, there’s an element of skepticism and fear on her approach towards relationships and it can’t be blamed. He knew he had it all to turn it into something worthwhile  and he just needed more time. Sadly, the usual friend, time, became his worst enemy. He knew it would be selfish to expect her to be patient. He didn’t want to impose or force her into anything as well. He decided. He pictured his heart as a fossil and spoke what his mind had to do. He wasn’t sure if it was the right thing to do, but he knew this decision would only affect him and thus he was preparing to live with it,pondering could it be just another of his idealistic assumption? He faced up the ceiling.

It was serene, for now.
